Supporting Jr Golf 2022

In 2022 Wacky Women continued our tradition of donating to Alaska Jr. Golf. This year we were able to donate $2000. According to Blake Smith, PGA Instructor, this donation was instrumental in helping to offset travel expenses for the Alaskan Jr. Golfers to compete with fellow Junior Golfers in the lower 48. Possibly the biggest impact of our continued donation according to Jeri Cunningham, Golf Operations Manager, Anchorage Golf Course (O’Malley), is that our support provides range keys so the Juniors can practice and increase their skill level. Our donation also assists with travel to the Drive, Chip Putt competition, which is also held out of state. Alaska Jr. Golf includes approximately 150 kids, and includes a Jr. Program, PGA Jr. League and Youth on Course programs. We received hearty thank you’s from both coaches, Jr. Golfers and their families! Wacky Women are proud and continued supporters of these young golfers!
